Over the course of the school terms, many pupils have decided to complete their work experience here at EOM, much like many of the team, who too were educated at the school, and participated in work experience at EOM, and thankfully the close relationship has continued across the years.
The most recent pupil to attend being Lennon, who was unsure of which trade he wanted to pursue a career in, but saw himself as more of a practical person, particularly keen to learn about the trades EOM are involved in. Lennon got stuck in with different projects helping our team learning new skills along the way. “It’s good to feel involved and be hands on, I’m gaining really good practical experience in a potential career path, I’m not 100% sure on which trade to pursue, however I know I wish to be in a trade”
Lennon helped with jobs such as fencing repairs, bathroom repairs and decorating ceilings. During his last week with us, he helped to lay brick pavers and he did it with precision. Lennon was a great asset to our team, and was a pleasure to have.
